SCHEDULING A NEW APPOINTMENT OR CHANGING AN EXISTING APPOINTMENT

You can schedule a new appointment or change an existing appointment via the SeaPsych client portal. If you need assistance with accessing or using the portal, please don't hesitate to call or email Dr. Behling.

Please remember that appointments must be cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice. If you wish to reschedule your appointment, you may do so within the current calendar week (Monday through Friday) without charge. Options for rescheduling within the same week depend on Dr. Behling’s current availability.

SHARING YOUR PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION

As outlined in the privacy notice you signed during your first meeting with Dr. Behling, federal law prohibits psychologists and other health care providers from sharing information about you without your consent, except in cases where there is suspected maltreatment, risk of harm to self, or danger to others. In Washington State, parents of a child under 13 years of age must sign a release of information form before information can be shared. Clients 13 years of age or older must sign the form.

BILLING

As noted in the fee agreement signed at the beginning of treatment, payment is due at time of service. Clients may bring a check or a credit card to each appointment or use the credit card on file. If you have a question or concern about a charge on your credit card, please contact Dr. Behling.

Dr. Behling is not currently paneled with any insurance company; however, you may submit invoices from each session for reimbursement at an out-of-network rate once you have met your out-of-network deductible. As reimbursement rates can vary within the same coverage provider, please contact your insurance company to find out more. The current list of CPT® billing codes used in Dr. Behling’s practice and their corresponding fees can be found here.
